ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PARTNERSHIP CONSIDERATION

As a Private Foundation, Grant’s Crusade thoughtfully selects and supports other non profit organizations that are making a meaningful impact within the neurodiverse community.

While we do not fund entire programs, we ensure that our contributions are directed specifically toward initiatives that directly support neurodivergent individuals within these organizations. This focused approach allows us to make a tangible, lasting difference where it matters most.

We support a diverse range of nonprofits that serve neurodiverse individuals across many different communities. This broad network allows us to reach more people and make a deeper, more meaningful impact.

We carefully evaluate new nonprofit partners quarterly using a specific set of criteria. This ensures not only that the funds we provide directly benefit neurodiverse individuals, but also that our partners embody the same values of empathy, inclusion, and genuine care for the people they serve.

In addition to funding, we collaborate with these organizations to create powerful video stories. These stories give our donors a clear window into the incredible work being done, while also celebrating the brilliance of neurodiverse individuals.

By shining a light on their experiences and the efforts of those supporting them, we’re helping to educate, inspire, and shift perspectives in a lasting way.

Our application process is quarterly starting in January.

To be considered, please send us a description of your organization, mission, work, and what this grant will directly support.

Why a Form 990 ?

Public charities are generally required to file Form 990, which provides a comprehensive view of the charity’s financial activities. There are different versions of Form 990, depending on the charity’s annual gross receipts and total assets:

  • Form 990: For larger organizations with gross receipts over $200,000 or total assets over $500,000.

  • Form 990-EZ: For smaller organizations with gross receipts under $200,000 and total assets under $500,000.

  • Form 990-N (e-Postcard): For very small organizations with gross receipts under $50,000 per year.

In case you filed a 990 N e-Postcard, we would need the following:

A breakdown of aggregate support by year (as defined under IRC Section 509(d)) for 2022, 2023, and 2024.

This includes:

  • Gifts, grants, contributions, or membership fees

  • Gross receipts from admissions, merchandise sales, or services provided (excluding unrelated business activities)

  • Net income from unrelated business activities

  • Gross investment income

  • This information is required for our grant-making analysis, per Revenue Procedure 2018-32.
